How to download videos from Youtube

With Dint-Y2dl, download Youtube videos could not be easier.

For new users of yt-dlp, you do not need to know the complex configuration, as Dint-Y2dl provide basic UI settings for downloading.

You can also download and install yt-dlp directly inside Dint-Y2dl

Basic download settings

You can go to Settings -> Download to config video download location and resolution.

And for live event video, you can use delay downloading as yt-dlp does not handle live video stream properly.

Please note:

these settings will override yt-dlp’s same configuration if found in the configuration file.

Advanced yt-dlp config

For advanced yt-dlp users, you can still use default configuration file for downloading without problem.
