Playback bar

Playback bar is the most important component in DintPlay, you can get basic playback information, or seek to new location of video through it.

Basic

When a video is playing, a slight touch on Apple TV Remote touchpad will show you playback bar with time information.

On first touch, the left time display current playing position of the video, the right time display the remaining time of current video.

If there is no second touch in 3 seconds, the bar will be automatically dismissed.

Otherwise, the time display will show the real time instead, so you know current time and when video watching will be finished.

Seeking

Playing step seeking

When video is playing, click left/right on touchpad will do a quick step backward or forward, you can define step duration in Settings.

Paused seeking

When video is paused, seeking indicator automatically displayed at the same location in playback bar as current playing position.

Swipe left/right in pausing state will move seeking indicator to new locations of video, click select on touchpad will start playing from that position.

Mark as played area

By default, a video item will mark as played only when its play position reached to the end of its duration, then it will be removed from up next section as it was played.

DintPlay provides settings to mark video as played earlier, so when playing position is inside this area, it will be marked as played, no need to reach to the end of a video.

The playback bar below has a 95% mark as played area, which is the light yellow area on the right side.
