Search on Radio Browser’s Website

Follow these steps to search for and retrieve the essential stream URL for your favorite station.

  1. Visit the Radio Browser Website: Go to Radio Browser and enter a keyword (station name, city, genre, etc.) in the prominent search field.radio browser homepage

  2. Select Your Station: The search results will display a list of matching stations. Click on the station you are interested in to view its details page.radio browser search results list

  3. Copy the Stream URL: On the station’s details page, look for the section showing the available stream links. Copy the stream URL—this is the unique address DintCast needs to play the audio.get radio station stream url💡 Tip: The URL often ends in a file extension like .pls, .m3u, or sometimes just points to an audio stream address. Make sure to copy the entire highlighted/selected text.

Adding the Stream to DintCast

Once you have the stream URL, you can easily add the radio station to your DintCast directory.

  1. Open the Add Menu in DintCast: In the DintCast app, navigate to the Podcasts Directory and tap the + (plus) button to add a new stream.

  2. Select “Add Stream URL”: Choose the option to add a stream via URL (or Manual Link).

  3. Paste the Stream URL: Paste the radio stream URL you copied from the Radio Browser website into the text field.

  4. Confirm and Enjoy: Tap Done or Add. DintCast will recognize the stream and add the radio station to your list, ready for playback!
