Getting Started

DintRead is a simple feeds(RSS, Atom, JSON) reader on macOS.

Add Feeds

DintRead support adding feed with URL ⌘+n, or importing feeds from OPML file ⌘⇧i.

You can also add feed easily with our handy Safari extension.

Article Layout

The main article layout is grid layout, gives you a quick, visual overview of all your articles. Our neat grid layout lets you easily scan headlines, see thumbnails, and read little summaries.

To quickly check article content, press space key will show plain text content in a popover, press space again or esc will close the popover.

To view article content in more detailed style, press enter key to open article in a new window.

Navigation Keys

Arrow keys are supported to select previous/next article or row in grid layout. jkhl keys also supported for quick navigation, j to select next row, k to select previous row, h to select left item, l to select right item.

Feed Manager

To manage all feeds added in DintRead, click Manage Feeds button at the bottom of sidebar, or click menu Window -> Feed Manager.

Search Articles

You can search articles by title and content in search window ⌘/. Here are some keys for search results.

• ⌃j to select next result.
• ⌃k to select previous result.
• enter to open selected article result in new window.
• ⌘d to send article link to custom URL scheme.

Basic Keys

• m to toggle article read flag
• f to toggle article favorite flag
• b to toggle article read later flag
• n to select next unread article
• v to open article link in browser
